![]() It's a constant frustration that will end up being part of the reason I give up on this game. Just navigating the field is stressful, looking for the sadistically placed outlet to the adjacent area, running around pointlessly until you realize you need to backtrack. ![]() The level layouts exacerbate the control issues, with tight and sharp corners and unforgiving collision boxes. I often find myself facing away from mobs, hacking away at the air, locked in animations. The controls are serviceable but could really use some tuning. Many things you'd expect to happen on mouse left/right click just don't, and tooltips are sparse and uninformative. ![]() They have a "tell them once while they're distracted in combat, and then never make that info available again" kind of approach that just isn't working for my aging brain. The entire user experience needs an overhaul, from the sheer overload of information at the start, to the dearth of information you need later. that and i dont trust anyone company that is. i get not alot of people like mac and i get that its harder to code for but seeing as a fair chunk of my friends only have macs i tend to look for games that i can play with them. okay? The art style hits what it's aiming for it's unique enough to set it apart, and seems to be undemanding of my rig. kinda wondering myself if there is mac support planned. ![]() Set in worlds full of dark creatures, hidden gods and abundant materials to be uncovered, you play as a Viking living in a village that houses the Seed of Yggdrasil. Tribes of Midgard is a new game in which players must resist the oncoming invasion of Giants during Ragnarök. TL DR: I think it's probably worth purchasing if you can find the fun and take it for what it is: a "we have Valheim at home" game that has its own charm, but is in dire need of some polish and attention to the user experience. Fight, craft, and stand together against the onslaught of Ragnarök. ![]()
